  • "Service Provider" means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company, including third-party companies or individuals engaged to facilitate or support the Service.

  • "Uploaded Documents" means any PDF files, including bank statements or other financial documents, that You upload to the Service for processing.

  • "Usage Data" refers to data collected automatically, either generated by Your use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • "You" means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address

  • First name and last name

  • Billing address and payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor; We do not store payment card data)

  • Usage Data

Financial Document Data

The core function of Our Service requires You to upload PDF bank statements or other financial documents. These Uploaded Documents may contain sensitive financial information, including account numbers, transaction histories, and balances. We process this information solely to extract transaction data and return it to You in CSV format.

In limited circumstances, authorized Company personnel may access Uploaded Documents for internal purposes such as quality assurance, troubleshooting, and service improvement. We do not use the contents of Your Uploaded Documents for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond those described in this Privacy Policy and Our Terms and Conditions.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when You use the Service. It may include information such as Your Device's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of Our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and maintain the Service. The technologies We use may include:

Use of Your Personal Data

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including processing Your Uploaded Documents and delivering Processed Data to You.

  • To manage Your Account, including Your registration and access to the features of the Service available to registered users.

  • To process payments and manage Your subscription or one-time purchases through our third-party payment processor.

  • To contact You regarding updates, security notices, or other communications necessary for the operation of the Service.

  • To manage Your requests and respond to inquiries or support tickets You submit to Us.

  • For quality assurance and service improvement, which may include authorized personnel reviewing Uploaded Documents to verify the accuracy and performance of Our automated extraction technology.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers, including cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), and payment processors, who assist Us in operating the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to handle Your data securely and only as directed by Us.

  • With Affiliates, in which case We will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

  • With Your consent, We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your explicit consent.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements.

Uploaded Documents and Processed Data are retained only for the period necessary to deliver the Service and fulfill any internal purposes described in this Privacy Policy and Our Terms and Conditions, such as quality assurance and troubleshooting. You are responsible for downloading and maintaining Your own copies of any Processed Data.

Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where it is used to improve the security or functionality of the Service, or where We are legally obligated to retain it for longer.

As part of the Service, We maintain a History log for each Account that includes the names of Uploaded Documents and links to download previously generated CSV files. This History data may be retained for a period of up to 30 days from the date of each conversion, after which it is automatically deleted. You are responsible for downloading and saving any CSV files You wish to keep before the retention period expires.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed at the Company's operating offices and on servers maintained by Our Service Providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), which may be located outside of Your state or country. Data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by Your submission of information, represents Your agreement to that transfer. The Company will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, such as a court or government agency.

Given that Your Uploaded Documents may contain sensitive financial information, We take particular care to limit access to such data to authorized personnel only, and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us immediately. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Marketing Communications

If You have opted in to receive marketing communications from Us, We may contact You by email with news, updates, or information about Our Service. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any such email or by contacting Us directly.
